This weekly TP28 service will mainly deploy 4,500 TEU vessels, calling at ports including: Vung Tau, Yantian, Ningbo and Shanghai with transit through the Panama Canal and direct connections to Houston and Norfolk.
The itinerary of TP28 service will be as follows:

The maiden voyage of the new service, operated by the Danish shipping line, is scheduled to begin on March 23 with the 2010-built Maersk Wallis set to depart from the Vietnamese port of Vung Tau.
The launch of the TP28 service coincides with the routing changes of another service on Maersk’s trans-Pacific service, the TP20 service. This service calls directly to Jakarta port, instead of Vung Tau.
The itinerary of TP20 service will be adjusted as follows:
Jakarta (Indonesia) – Yantian (Trung Quốc) – Ningbo (Trung Quốc) – Thượng Hải (Trung Quốc) – Charleston (Nam Carolina) – Newark (New Jersey)
In addition, Maersk said it intends to gradually increase the size of vessels deployed on the TP20 service, from 4,500 TEU to 6,500 TEU.
